Since January 2015 Commenting on the Revised Common Lectionary

It occurred to me it might be a good idea to clarify the issue of who can claim what – not that the issue has arisen. But it is good to make things clear before it becomes an issue. The Revised Common Lectionary has a long and established history. I did not create it or invent it. I merely follow the pattern of scripture passages that the RCL has noted for each day. I mainly use the New Revised Standard Version, although I consult other versions from time to time. Other than that, the content is mine and the other contributors that also wrote for this blog. Since 2010 it has been pretty much me. And that includes 95% of the pictures as well. I am not possessive or territorial. But neither would I appreciate my work and the work of past contributors to be misused or for someone other than ourselves to take credit for it. “A Simple Desire” blog has been in existence since 2007. We have history, and coming awfully close to a decade on our side, so please respect the work and the effort that has gone into this site. Thank you. And shalom!
